Apple Remove "Rate on Delete" feature for Apps in iPhone 4

Apple is removing "Rate on Delete" feature from its iPhone software:

'Developers will be pleased to learn that Apple has removed a controversial "Rate on Delete" feature from iPhone 4. Starting in iPhone 2.2, when a user deleted an App from their iPhone, the operating system would ask the user to rate a App using the 1-5 star rating system in the App Store. The move was presumably meant to increase rating participation in the App Store.'

However, many developers were unhappy with the feature as they felt it skewed the ratings downwards. The system increased the number of ratings from customers who were likely unhappy with an app, while those who kept an app on their iPhone would never be prompted for a rating.

Apple iPad = Large Apple iPod touch

The iPad is merely a large iPod Touch, with almost identical hardware in places. Chipworks mention iPad as 'a giant battery with a tiny [circuit] board embedded to it' -- and you can see at the picture and know why

So, no real news now I'm afraid, unless you're trying to calm a Mac crazy fan. What you're spend for is a large touch-screen and a giga battery, you are not purchase a piece of 'magic', but simply a large iPod Touch. The dark secret, as always, is in the software. It is not the first time that Apple has created some fantastic software into a shiny, but otherwise lackluster, minimalist hardware package.

Tthe coolest part of these news is that Chipworks tear apart of bleeding-edge technology to create full, reproducible schematics of a device's circuit.
